Ice cream is kind of chilled dish which is usually eaten during the summer season. There are many flavors of ice cream that are available in the market. However these are company made. There are also some special recipes of ice cream that can be adopted to prepare as homemade ice cream. One of the most popular flavors of ice cream is Quick vanilla ice cream. It being the most economical one and is also free from excessive fat content. It takes approximate 10-12 minutes to prepare.
Ingredients that are required for its preparation are Milk (2 cup), Milk powder(1 cup), fresh cream of approximate half cup which is nearly 100 grams, powdered sugar of approximately one by third part of a cup and most importantly the essence which is also treated as the preservative and fragrance provider to the ice cream. 1 tea spoon of essence is more than enough for this ice cream.
Also the method of preparation of this ice cream is very simple. Firstly, a mixture is formed by fusing all the ingredients together and then this mixture is whisked so that the entire sugar quantity gets dissolved. After this, this mixture is kept in a container of hollow type and then placed into the freezer so as to freeze it until it gets semi solid. Then this semi solid part is churned within the blender until all the ice pieces or crystals are shifted to the container. Let this mixture into the freezer until it gets totally solid and firm. In this way, the ice cream dish is ready to be served.
Also one popular flavor is the banana flavor. For its preparation, half dozen bananas are required; two eggs are required in the beaten or in the uncovered form, nearly two cups of cream, two liters of pure milk, about 7 table spoon sugar, nutmeg of about one by eight part of table spoon. Then comes its preparation procedure which is also not tedious. Firstly, the milk is required to be boiled on lower flame. As soon as it boils and become thicker, let it for cooling. Then bananas are ripped and are crushed together. Then, milk and some cream are added in these smashed bananas and are whisked so as to form the semi solid paste. Then beaten eggs are also added in this paste and then the paste is mixed properly. Then this paste is kept in a refrigerator in the hollow type bowl for approximately 6 hours. In this duration, this paste gets completely solid and hence become servable. In this way, the banana ice cream is prepared.
